Source and Attribution Policy
The source record is part of the publication, not an invisible internal artifact.
Source preference
Use primary documents and authoritative records for direct facts, and reputable independent reporting for context and evaluation.
Claim-level support
Material claims should link to, name, or otherwise identify their supporting source. Anonymous sourcing requires a stated public-interest reason and editorial authorization.
Independence
A source affiliated with OYOTTA can establish what OYOTTA said or published, but cannot establish independent notability or independent evaluation of OYOTTA.
Traceability
Source notes retain access dates, titles, publishers, stable URLs where available, and the relationship between evidence and claims.
Prohibited practice
Circular citation, citation laundering, invented sources, misleading quotation, and relabeling publicity as independent journalism are prohibited.
